Kenzie Speaks on Mixtape Album Cancellation & His Upcoming Projects This 25th February 2017

After dropping K.O.T music video and 2 freestyles on his birthday last year, Rapper Kenzie is opening up about the long-awaited release of his first studio mixtape album "the BLAK mixtape".

In an interview with Kenzie, the rapper revealed that he took a few months off the music scene to work on personal projects but have performed at shows regularly. He also said that fans will get to hear his voice on the beats more often starting February this year.

“I took a break to work on a different project, I was not gone, I was getting features on other songs and rocking the shows like I always do… we canceled the album but the songs on it shall be released as soon as possible" The rapper said.

On August 16th, Kenzie released the music video for his solo track “K.O.T” without an audio release where the rapper showed his fierce and passionate side that is new to many. His anticipated mixtape release, however, originally scheduled to be released on December 6th, have unfortunately been called off following personal issues with management.

Due to plans of more productions, songs on the mixtape has been rescheduled for release as singles starting 25th February 2016. He hopes to show a more matured image of himself, Kenzie hopes to meet his goal with “BLAK” set to release on 25th February.
